When: Wednesday 15th July, 7pm - 10pm
Where: Deck and Dagger, Frome
The cruisers have stopped exploding (mostly), and it's time for round two.
Deck and Dagger's “Intro to Battlefleet Gothic” returns for our second session, for new, curious, and returning players to the space battleship combat game set in the Warhammer 40k universe.
This time we're running scenario two from the starter pack: A lone ship has been sent into a system to lure out the defending forces in an extended pursuit. But our fleeing vessel has some friends lying in wait up ahead. Will you take the bait?
You’ll be commanding a few more ships and learning a few more core BFG rules. The cruisers from our first event are joined by over a dozen smaller escort ships, and fleet admiral Mae will be walking us through new mechanics such as:
List building
Splitting fire
Squadrons
Sub plots
Celestial phenomena and asteroid fields
No experience is needed, and you don't need to have come to our first session. If you did, you'll already know your way around a typical turn phase in BFG. Anyone who is completely new will get a quick refresher on the core rules before we dive in.
What To Bring:
10 x D6 Dice
Tape Measure
(Even greater) enthusiasm for the void
What We'll Provide:
Ships, terrain, tokens, and starter rules.
Whether you're returning to finish what you started or jumping into the world of Battlefleet Gothic as a fresh recruit - the void is waiting.
